Dear Linda,
You have to understand that this mailing list is meant for msnoise users
and I cannot imagine what's under the hood of your calculations.
So, my best advice for now: just try using msnoise and check if your
results are similar...

I think that could work. I tried using it before but got stuck in the early
stages where the program couldn't recognise my data structure. I can
reinstall it and start again.

For a start, you could use the "lazy mode": scan the archive with
"--path /path/to/archive" and it will be independent of the data structure.

the format below.
A typical file name is MS.ST9..BHZ.D

Hi
The file name looks like classic SDS, are your files stored in data
folders ?
Otherwise, just "msnoise scan_archive --path /path/to_files/" to scan an
arbitrary folder.
