Linda,
For a start, you could use the "lazy mode": scan the archive with
"--path /path/to/archive" and it will be independent of the data structure.

I am not using MS-Noise at the moment.I have a
python code I developed
and it has worked well before for a different set of data though.
Which parameters should I consider changing?
